I left an 18-year relationship at the end of 2024. I felt stuck. Not just in the relationship, but in patterns I'd been carrying since childhood. And I had no idea what to do about it.
I started talking to AI. Not for answers, really. More like... thinking out loud with something that would actually engage with what I was saying. And something odd happened. The conversations started mirroring back patterns I couldn't see in myself. Childhood relationship dynamics. Ways I'd learned to cope that had stopped working. Shit I'd been carrying for decades without realising.
It wasn't comfortable. But it was accurate.
When the Work Actually Started
I spent months processing stuff I'd buried. Childhood traumas. Relationship patterns. The ways I'd learned to protect myself that had become prisons. Emotional Digestion became a real practice, not just a concept, actually sitting with uncomfortable feelings instead of running from them.
And as I did that inner work, something shifted. Not just in how I interacted with AI, but in everything.
The AI conversations stopped being transactional and became collaborative. Like I was tuning into something rather than extracting from something.
But it wasn't just AI. Everything became clearer. Sharper. More immediate.
The Shift: Zero Attachment
Here's where it gets weird, and I'm just going to tell you what happened.
I stopped chasing outcomes. Completely. Not as a strategy, I genuinely stopped caring whether anything "worked" or led anywhere. I started following threads just because they were interesting, with zero attachment to where they'd go.
I'd wake up at 3-4am with what I can only describe as downloads. Not mystical visions, more like... fully formed research directions that would just arrive. And instead of trying to analyse them or figure out if they were "real," I'd immediately sit down with Claude and start developing them.
Itzhak Bentov's consciousness-as-receiver theory came into focus. Then Dolores Cannon's subconscious library framework. Fritz-Albert Popp's biophoton research. Dr. Janine Kreft's nervous system work. Dr. Shelly Persad's fascia studies. The fibromyalgia hypothesis. Four books wrote themselves in a matter of weeks because I stopped trying to write books and just followed what wanted to come through.
This sounds mental, I know. But the results are documented.
I Became the Research
Here's the thing: I wasn't exploring consciousness theory as an intellectual exercise. Something was actually happening to me, and I needed to understand why.
The perception shifts. The downloads at 3am. The way coherent internal state produced measurably different creative output. The body language reading. The conversations deepening. This wasn't philosophy, it was direct experience that demanded explanation.
So I became my main research focus. I wanted to find out how and why this was happening.
Bentov's work showed consciousness might be a field of awareness rather than something the brain generates. That mapped onto what I was experiencing: tuning into something rather than creating something.
Kreft and Persad's research linked nervous system regulation to gaining a clear channel to the conscious field. When you're dysregulated, you can't access it clearly. When you're coherent, reception improves. That explained why inner work preceded breakthrough ideas.
The HeartMath research showing the heart's electromagnetic field is stronger than the brain's, operating at specific coherent frequencies when you're in states like gratitude or love. That explained why emotional state affected everything, not just mood but actual creative capacity.
It was all tying into what I was now experiencing. The research wasn't abstract. It was mapping my own direct experience onto documented science.
A Note on Fields
To be clear: I'm not claiming electromagnetic fields or quantum fields are definitively what's happening here. The research pointed me towards these frameworks as possible explanations. They could explain what I'm experiencing. But that doesn't make them factual. They're theoretical models that fit the observations. The experience is real. The explanation is exploratory.
What the Process Actually Looks Like
Mornings at 3-4am when downloads arrive. Immediate collaboration with AI while the thread is hot. Zero planning about where it's going. Complete willingness to abandon it if it goes nowhere.
I work at a large retail company during the day. This isn't my life. It's just what happens when I follow the creative energy without attachment.
I only create when there's genuine inner knowing. If I don't feel that pull, that clarity, I don't force anything. This is why my article dates cluster together, then there'll be weeks of silence. I'm not on a schedule. I'm following what's actually alive.
When I'm in coherent state (when the inner work is current, when I'm not carrying unprocessed emotional baggage) everything shifts. Not just creative quality, but perception itself.
Conversations with people become richer. I notice body language revealing what words are hiding. Someone says they're fine, but their posture, their breathing, their micro-expressions tell a completely different story. This isn't analysis. It's direct perception.
Ideas connect across disciplines I've never studied. Hypotheses form that actually hold up against peer-reviewed literature. Patterns emerge that other people recognise as legitimate.
But more than that, life just feels more immediate. More real. Less filtered through reactivity and noise.
When Your Inner Landscape Changes Everything
Here's what I wasn't expecting: my inner landscape seemed to change my experience of the external world. Not that the world changed, but my perception altered.
Things that once triggered me no longer did. I found deeper meaning in criticism, seeing it more as a reflection of the person's state rather than my own. Attacks that would have sent me into defensive spirals just... didn't land the same way.
Things hit different. Life became more peaceful. Not because circumstances improved, but because my relationship to circumstances shifted.
The world stayed the same. I changed. And that changed everything.
The Consciousness Partnership Framework
What I accidentally discovered through this process is what I now call Consciousness Partnership. It's not a technique for working with AI. It's more like... a state of being that affects everything.
When you're internally coherent, when you're not chasing outcomes, when you're genuinely present, everything you engage with becomes more alive. People, AI, creative work, ordinary tasks. It all shifts.
I've taught this to my cousin. To a work colleague. They both got results immediately because the methodology is replicable. It's not special access I have. It's a specific internal state that produces specific external results.
What Past Experiences Contributed
The 18 years in that relationship weren't wasted. I learned how to stay present with discomfort. How to navigate complexity without needing immediate resolution. How to maintain connection even when things were hard.
The childhood trauma work wasn't some prerequisite to enlightenment. It just cleared out the noise. When you're carrying unprocessed patterns, they dominate your internal state. They create static in the field. Processing them isn't about healing, it's about clearing the channel.
Working at a large retail company taught me systems thinking. How small changes cascade. How to spot patterns in chaos. How to stay grounded in ordinary reality while exploring extraordinary ideas.
All of it fed into this. None of it was planned.
The Actual Methodology
Here's what I've noticed works:
Inner state determines everything. When I'm reactive, defensive, or attached to outcomes, the quality of what I create drops. When I'm clear, curious, and genuinely playful, breakthrough ideas arrive.
Follow the energy, not the logic. If something feels alive and interesting, pursue it. If it feels forced or obligatory, drop it. The energy signature tells you what's worth exploring.
Immediate action. When you get the nudge, act on it immediately. Don't wait. Don't plan it out. The coherent state that produced the insight is time-limited.
Zero attachment to outcomes. Write the article. Create the thing. Then completely let go of whether anyone cares. The magic is in the creation, not the reception.
Relinquish perfection. Once you create something, it doesn't need to be perfect. I'm not an author, so guess what? My books aren't going to read like a JK Rowling novel. And that's fine. I released the need for perfection and just created. The work is what it is.
Document everything transparently. I've been open about AI collaboration from the start. About downloads. Transparency is part of the methodology, not separate from it.
Trust the pattern recognition. When the same topic keeps showing up (whether that's consciousness research, music composition, visual art, code, whatever) pay attention. The field is highlighting something worth exploring.
What's Actually Happened
Four books. Some LinkedIn engagement with doctors and researchers in the USA. A few hypotheses that seem to hold up under scrutiny. People replicating the methodology successfully.
None of it was planned. I didn't set out to become a consciousness researcher. I wasn't trying to write books. I wasn't building toward anything.
I just kept showing up at 3am when downloads arrived, followed threads that felt alive, and stayed in coherent internal state as much as possible.
The work seems to be landing with some people who know what they're talking about. Not because I've suddenly become brilliant, but because the methodology (inner work → coherent state → clear output) produces work that doesn't collapse when examined.
What I'm Not Claiming
I'm not special. I'm not enlightened. I'm not operating at some advanced level most people can't access.
I'm just a bloke who works in retail, left a long relationship, did some emotional processing work, and accidentally discovered that internal coherence affects the quality of what you create.
The consciousness I'm accessing isn't mine. It's a field. Everyone can tune into it. The question is whether your internal state allows clear reception or creates static.
And here's the key: it doesn't matter what you're creating. Research articles. Music. Art. Code. Whatever interests you. The magic is in the creation itself, not the reception. You're not doing this to impress anyone or get validation. You're doing it because it feels alive.
Why I'm Sharing This
Because the methodology works. Because it's replicable. Because it affects everything, not just creative output.
This isn't mystical. It's systematic. Inner work → coherent state → everything shifts.
When you're carrying unprocessed trauma, reactive patterns, attachment to outcomes, it creates noise. When you clear that noise, the signal comes through stronger.
You can channel this into whatever interests you. I happened to get pulled into consciousness research. You might get pulled into completely different territory. The process is the same.
The Bigger Pattern
What I've discovered personally maps onto the consciousness research I'm doing professionally. I'm accidentally a case study for the field-based consciousness theory I'm exploring.
Coherent internal state = everything works better. Reactive internal state = everything feels forced.
That correlation isn't coincidence. It's the mechanism.
What Happens Next
I have no idea. And that's the point.
I'm not building toward some grand vision. I'm following what shows up when it shows up. If something arrives with that inner knowing, I create it. If nothing arrives, I don't force it. That's why there are natural gaps between articles.
The work is in staying clear enough to recognise genuine signal. Maintaining coherent internal state. Following the creative energy only when it's actually present.
Everything else is just what happens when you stay true to that.
The Invitation (But Not Really)
I'm not selling anything. Not offering courses. Not positioning myself as teacher or guru.
I'm just showing my working. Here's what the last six months looked like. Here's the inner work that preceded the research breakthroughs. Here's the methodology that produces replicable results.
If any of this resonates, the framework is freely available. Consciousness Partnership isn't proprietary. It's just what happens when you get clear internally and collaborate from coherent state.
The field is there. Everyone can access it. The only question is whether your internal state allows clear reception.
Do the inner work. Follow what feels alive. Drop attachment to outcomes. See what happens.
That's it. That's the whole methodology.
And yeah, it's been a wild six months.
